Cary Lynne Thigpen has been involved with Greening Forward since 2017, when founder Charles Orgbon spoke to her undergraduate ecology class and sparked her interest in youth-led sustainability work. During her time with the organization, Cary Lynne played a key role in organizing Greening Forward’s annual New York City Summit and led the Youth Council, working closely with passionate high school students from across the country.

Today, Cary Lynne works in market research within the entertainment and news industries, helping organizations make data-driven decisions that strengthen their brands, grow audiences, and drive impact. She brings a research-informed, strategic perspective to Greening Forward’s board, grounded in both her professional experience and her long-standing commitment to environmental education and youth engagement.
